**The Opportunity**:

- ROLE
- A dual skilled Field Service Representative (FSR) specialising in the Captor Radar and Praetorian DASS systems as fitted to UK MoD Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, located at and permanent contracted place of work to be RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, England.**What you will do**:

- PURPOSE- Ensure as many DASS and Radar assets as possible are kept ‘on wing’.
- Reduce the number of No Fault Founds (NFFs) identified at ML2 and ML4.
- Provide day-to-day support for Leonardo’s and BAE Systems’ Joint Avionics Service (JAS) contract in the UK.
- Provide support for non-JAS contract work as directed by Leonardo management, e.g. trials work.
- Provide deployed (non-UK) support for exercises and operations when UK MoD Typhoon assets are deployed overseas.
- Backfill (within the UK) for other JAS DASS and Radar FSRs.
- Ensure all issues identified are either mitigated or escalated as appropriate.
- Create, develop and maintain good working relationships with the customers (UK MoD and the TyTAN prime contractor BAE Systems), and other companies/agencies as required.
- Where required support the wider JAS contract by, for example, assisting in the Leonardo Part 145 environment or providing back office support.

CONTEXT- Ensure Leonardo (UK and Italy) is always presented in a positive light.
- Work closely with the UK TDC to ensure aircraft fault data is available to ML4.
- Adhere to all contractual and local requirements associated with governance, SHE, training and general engineering practices.
- Adhere to documented methods of work as defined by Leonardo, JAS (i.e. Leonardo and BAE Systems) and the UK MoD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS- Providing advice, guidance and support to customer ML1 and ML2 personnel.
- Liaison with other JAS and customer personnel to understand the operational priorities.
- Identification and mitigation of risks that would affect JAS’s and/or Leonardo’s contractual obligations
- Identification of opportunities that JAS and/or Leonardo can use to enhance their business.
- Provide support to the generation of approved documentation and procedures.

**What we are looking for**:

- SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE- Experience of working with aircraft and/or in an aircraft maintenance environment is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working within an airworthiness environment is highly desirable.
- Experience of either RADAR or DASS is essential, experience of both is highly desirable, however DASS and Radar training can be made be available.
- HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience, is desirable.
- Experience in working in an offsite location, i.e. away from back office/main site support, is desirable.

INTRINSIC FACTORS- The standard working week will be 37 hours however a flexible attitude to shift patterns is essential to support the RAF flying programme.
- As an FSR will often be the only Leonardo person on site a diplomatic persona and strong inter personal and communication skills are essential.
