**Hire Administrator**

On a day-day basis you'll work at our Coningsby depot but may be required to travel to one our other depots across the country although this would not be often, and full use of pool cars are available. You will be building great working relationships and product knowledge which you will use when helping your customers with their equipment hiring needs. Resolving any issues quickly and keeping your customers informed, so that they feel valued.

The Operations Department is responsible for all hire requests for the business to ensure safe & efficient delivery and collections of our works at the most competitive rates with minimum downtime to the operation. It will also be your role to work closely with our operations manager and ensure that jobs are completed efficiently together. Naturally you will be a great organizer, who enjoys working in a busy but friendly team environment.

You will
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure the plant is delivered to site and on time as requested
- support with breakdowns to minimise downtime and manage the expectations of the contract
- Take requests from customers and place the relevant orders
- Ensure all contract costs are accurately allocated to the correct project codes and in the correct weeks
- Complete all administration tasks as required.
- Liaise with other departments and work together with the Operations Manager, to ensure data integrity is correct and any discrepancies are identified, and re-occurrence is avoided
- Field internal and external calls to deliver all business requirements.

Must Have:

- Prior experience in a role where you can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
- Flexible and self-motivated, you'll take the initiative and be keen to embrace new training opportunities
- Great communication skills - both verbal and written
- Effective administration, planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT/Computer skills. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry, also any experiance within th ehire industry is a bonus but full training will be given
- Previous experience in the hire or construction industry would be advantageous, however full training will be given
- Flexibility and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Ability to organize senior managers’ workloads

Rates Of pay will be negotiable at the time of interview, dependant on experience.
