**Clinic Assistant**

We are one of the leading providers of NHS ophthalmology services in England. We aim to make a positive difference to people’s lives through better sight and eye health.

We are opening a brand-new clinical service in Abingdon, Oxfordshire and we're looking for Patient Administrators to join the team and help us continue to deliver outstanding clinical care for our patients.

**What will the role involve?**

Clinic Assistants are the public face of Newmedica and are integral to the successful operation of the clinic. They are responsible for performing clinical tests and ensuring that all patients understand their treatment. They are also responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient administration of the clinic.

Combining a friendly and accessible personal manner with basic clinical testing skills, our CA’s pride themselves in delivering great customer service.

No clinical knowledge is required (full training will be given) but intellectual curiosity is desirable. We’re passionate about helping our teams to be at their best, so we’ll work with you to ensure you’re fully supported both personally, professionally and always provide opportunities for growth.

**What skills and experience do I need for the role?**

**EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE**
- Proven customer service skills with a passion for customer care. Previous experience of working in a customer facing role is desirable.
- Willingness to build and gain knowledge
- Previous experience is not required.
- Computer literate - comfortable with Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new patient record systems.
