Job Reference: BXBPMLDTA45188 **About the role** As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be: - Catering to students aged 3-11 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. - Supporting children with severe learning difficulties working in partnership with the class teacher to make sure that the children's need are met. - Ensuring that children's personal care is maintained. - Supporting students with medical needs such as tube feeding and oxygen tanks. - Assisting the class teacher with preparing resources for the class. **About the school** This is a tightly knit, OFSTED rated "Good" school, with a strong commitment to ensuring that all children are given the chance to live a positive and independent life. The school is a short walk from Feltham and Kempton Park station. **Requirements** To be considered for the role of PMLD Teaching Assistant you will: - Experience of working with students with MLD and PMLD needs, or willing to learn - Must be willing to help with children's Personal Care - NVQ2 - PECS and MAKATON training is highly desirable Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
