**Job title**: Finance Assistant (Sales)

**Salary**: £22,199 - £23,997 per annum, pro rata

**Hours**: Part Time - 24 hours per week

(Position requires 24 hours per week. Schedule can be flexible, but must include availability on Fridays)

**What will a ‘typical’ day look like?**
- Take ownership of processing sales invoices for funding, rental & room hire
- Taking pride in ensuring invoices are coded correctly and entered onto our Sage accounting package correctly
- Keeping a keen eye on when invoices become outstanding, sending out statements and calling up to chase payment
- Ensure that invoices are cleared for payment by checking against purchase orders
- Dealing with queries and requests from our project teams
- Assisting with the year end audit
- Being a good team member and covering for other members of the team
- General filing and scanning and any other special finance tasks that crop up

**What do we need from you?**
- Experience of working in an office role
- Be a great communicator
- Well organised and can meet realistic deadlines
- Genuinely want to do your best - pride in being accurate
- Not afraid to ask if you’re not sure
- Work well with others
- And if you have experience of Excel and an accountancy package, even better
