You’ll be part of the product design team at ScottishPower helping look after our products look and feel and the user experience, along with developing our visual brand identity.
Working closely with product owners and developers using scrum methodologies to deliver best in class digital experiences for millions of customers, whilst managing a complex mix of stakeholders across the UK business and wider global group.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Planning and conducting user research and competitor analysis
- Analysing different data sources and qualitative feedback and working with the product owner to create an improvement pipeline
- Creating user stories, personas and storyboards
- Creating user journey mapping, user flows, feature flows and sitemaps
- Determining information architecture
- Creating prototypes and wireframes
- Designing high-fidelity user experiences
- Help define tone of voice and micro-copy
- Contributing to design libraries and patterns
- Conducting usability testing
- Conducting desirability testing
- Owning your products’ user flows while working as a team across your assigned business units to ensure a cohesive experience
- Acting as the voice of the user taking a data-driven approach to design.
- Champion human-centred design.
- Help shape the future of utility in the UK

**What you’ll bring**

You understand what success looks like and how to measure/track outcomes. With strong organisational skills you’ll effectively schedule diverse workloads and be able to co-ordinate the conflicting demands of internal and external digital product backlogs ensuring delivery timescales are met.

You have good experience using design systems to create consistent and efficient design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives while maintaining quality. You’re confident in presenting your work and walking through your design decisions. With ability to own, address and resolve customer experience problems, such as root cause analysis.

A good understanding of analytics and quantitative testing and analysis with an understanding of agile working practices like Kanban and Scrum. You can quickly execute polished UI concepts, user flows and more complex prototypes.
