A key role, within our Finance Systems Team, responsible for maintaining the integrity, access and security of financial systems and key financial data. The post holder will provide support to accountants and non-finance users in their day-to-day operation of finance systems and contribute to the development, testing & implementation of system enhancements.

About the day-to-day:
- Manage the administration controls of finance systems and data, ensuring user access is secure, up-to-date and meets functional and audit requirements.- Provide HelpDesk support, through gaining excellent knowledge of finance systems, to enable effective liaison with users and the timely resolution of queries.- Ensure change documentation is complete and fully approved; processed and recorded in a controlled and auditable manner.- Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts.- Maintain the Business DOA, and process approved changes as requested.- Develop and maintain customised management reports as required.- Provide training in the use of financial systems.- Assist in the design, development, testing and implementation of changes / automation of financial processes and reporting.- Assist with the upload of journals, feeder files & financial budgets / forecasts into the various systems (Dynamics AX, Hyperion).- Undertake reconciliation tasks.- Assist with the year-end audits.- Actively participate in projects as required.

Must have:
- Experience supporting & maintaining a financial system.- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.- Attention to detail with ‘completer-finisher’ and problem solver mentality.- Ability to manage own workload including the prioritisation of tasks.- Experience supporting an accounting function, with a good understanding of transaction processing, finance & management reporting and consolidation.- Strong interest in technology and data and looking to combine finance skills with technology.

Great to have:
- Understanding of Accounting and Financial principles / practices.- Functional knowledge and experience of Dynamics AX, Hyperion and Financial reporting tools.- Comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment resulting in continual change.- Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
