We took the podcast world by storm with shows such as the ARIA-nominated Unfiltered with James O’Brien and the massively successful House of Rugby, which has just returned for its third season, alongside our new football show All To Play For. Our writtencontent is widely shared across social, from sharp and incisive news coverage through to longreads and feature content, and of course the institution that is the company Friday Pub Quiz.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Video Editor to join our award-winning content team, editing and delivering best-practice long-form video content across all of our social media channels.

As a Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for bringing our social video content to life with encapsulating video scripts, take video to the next level with creative editing and are able to produce quality work on tight deadlines.

Video Editor responsibilities:

- Editing day to day trending video content for JOE social channels.
- Working with Video Creatives on the delivery of social video formats.
- Acting as a video editing resource for the wider team as tasked by your line manager.
- Working to strict deadlines to ensure JOE social video is some of the first to the feed.
- Using analytics to better understand our audience through content performance.
- Continually working within the tone of the brand.
- Maintaining both personal and team KPIs and targets.

The role will be based from our Manchester office for 3 days a week and the remaining 2 days will be remote.

**Who Fits The Bill**:
You should have the following skills...
- Experience and efficiency in using Adobes creative video software.
- A keen interest and understanding of the main social media platforms.
- Extremely organised and calm under pressure.
- Able to respond quickly and effectively to constructive criticism.
- Attention to detail and a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience editing video for social publishers in a similar role is recommended for this role though not essential.
- Knowledge of media law, including copyright and consent, and ethical considerations is desirable though not essential.
- Keen to start a career as a Video Editor, Videographer, or Video Producer.
