Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling through visual content, and proficiency in various editing software. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging videos that resonate with diverse audiences, contributing to our brand's visual identity and marketing campaigns.

Duties

  • Work as lead Editor for a podcast.
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations
  • Incorporate graphics, colour correction, sound effects, and music to enhance video quality
  • Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand project objectives and deliver compelling visual stories
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Utilise Adobe Creative Suite programmes such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign for editing and graphic design tasks
  • Apply skills in photography when capturing supplementary footage or images for projects
  • Maintain organised project files and ensure all assets are properly stored and backed up

Skills

  • Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other relevant editing tools
  • Knowledge of photography techniques to enhance video content
  • Skilled in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign for creating graphics and visual elements
  • Familiarity with colour grading and sound editing to produce high-quality videos
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
  • Creative flair combined with attention to detail to produce visually captivating content

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £13.76-£23.69 per hour
