IT Systems Administrator Team Leader with sound skills in Windows Server admin, Virtualisation with Microsoft Hyper-V, Active Directory, Office 365 is required to support internal IT infrastructure and around 400 Hyper-V / Virtual Machine instances, ideallycombined with any knowledge or a strong desire to learn AWS and areas such as EC2 instances / VPC is required by world leading software house based close to London Bridge who provide enterprise software to the pharmaceutical industry.
The role will shortly be embarking on a large scale physical to AWS Cloud migration so it’s a great chance to get hands on with AWS, EC2 and VPC’s.
As a Windows Systems Administrator your role will involve leading a small team of around 3 engineers, as well as being hands on covering Windows server admin, networking, Virtualisation, and support end users with Office 365 and deskside issues.
This is a hybid role ( 2 days per week in the office at the London Bridge / City office) as you will be supporting the team and physical systems and leading a friendly and supportive team who are all passionate about the work they do.
As a IT Systems Administrator Team Leader Requirements would include:
- Microsoft Windows server and Hyper-V Virtualisation / Virtual Machines (the company have 400 VM’s)
- Some experience of leading / line managing other engineers
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365
- Any skills in AWS / EC2 / VPC or a strong desire to learn about AWS / Cloud tech as you will be working on a large AWS project
- Excellent communication and team player
As a IT Systems Administrator - Team Leader you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £50k) plus benefits.
