We work in partnership within Adults and Children's Services across this unique sector, having a comprehensive understanding of this challenging buthighly rewarding profession.This Local Authority are looking for a committed Social Worker to join their Assessment team on a locum basis. They are focusing on making a lasting difference whilst working together to inspire and empower children, young peopleand adults to be the best they can be. This will be an initial 5 month contract however may be on a rolling basis thereafter.The Job Role Consists Of: Undertaking person-centred assessments Enable individuals to make choices and work towards their identifiedgoals Providing an integrated approach to assessments and providing care with key partners Manage a workload of complex cases and organise work activities, considering the need to prioritise tasks and responsibilities Develop and maintain good working relationshipswith other professionals within the team, wider service area and partner agencies Ensure that all necessary communications and referrals are made to relevant agenciesRequirements: Qualified Social Worker SWE Registered Experience of working with adults witha variety of needs Experience working within a multi-disciplinary setting Capable of making assessments and report writing All applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.Social work can be challenging at times and here at Aurora Resourcingwe are always here to support and guide you through each contract.
