About your role

Have a leading role in Fidelity’s UK MPS & Intermediary Solutions Distribution effort, responsible for:

- Defining and managing the overall Distribution strategy with the Head of MPS & Intermediary Solutions
- The development of all collateral & materials (e.g. pitch decks, web content, videos, brochures, guides, disclosures) in collaboration with our Marketing and Client Propositions teams for client facing distribution.
- Supporting client engagements; acting as a presentation and product specialist with a focus on Investment and Practitioner support in B2B meetings alongside account managers.
- Managing ongoing Sales team and Intermediary training programmes
- Managing ongoing Sales & Marketing campaign approach (including Events, Marketing, PR and Social media) with the UK Wholesale Management, Marketing, Client Propositions and PR teams
- Supporting the proposition development including client reporting and experience, with the Head of MPS & Intermediary Solutions
- Driving strong engagement and partnership with our GPS teams (FWM, FAS and PI) with the UK Wholesale Management team

Act as a presentation and product specialist for the broader Fidelity proposition in the UK advisory market
- Delivering roadshows to over 2000 clients per year across the UK including national, network and trade body events, promoting the MPS and other Fidelity products where appropriate

More broadly within the role
- Achieve appropriate KPI’s and sales targets as agreed with the Head of UK Sales
- Build and maintain business plan to realise targets and build deep strategic relationships across multiple touchpoints
- Utilise Fidelity at an enterprise level to deepen client and prospect relationships
- Be able to build and maintain strong internal relationships with other parts of Fidelity’s business including Investment management, RFP, marketing and events.
- Maintain accurate records of client engagements within the appropriate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Represent the needs and aspirations of clients internally, ensuring that sales, propositions and communications are aligned
- Required to adhere to MiFID II requirements for CPD
- Feed into product development process, based on client and industry knowledge
- Maintain product and industry knowledge, through formal and informal training, providing feedback and key commercial insights back into the appropriate teams
- Work closely with sales support and other sales team members to maintain high standards of client service
- Formally and informally mentor junior sales team member and sales support

About you
- Demonstrable & significant experience of dealing with Wholesale clients at all levels of the clients’ organisation, from MD to account contacts
- Experience leading large, complex sales relationships on national accounts
- In possession of relevant industry qualifications
- Ability to operate as a leader within a strong, developed sales team
- Demonstrable and in-depth understanding of the Fund industry and associate regulatory or legislative frameworks
- Strong working knowledge of and relationship with key Fund buyers
- Strong working knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, Multi Asset / Solutions, and ETFs
- The ability to navigate large corporate environments and demonstrable ability to effectively manage critical relationships across the organisation
- Aptitude in use of analytics to identify opportunitie
