We are seeking a dynamic and organised Commercial Assistant to join our team. This role will be primarily focused on supporting our Remote Services sector, as well as contributing to our broader PR and Marketing efforts.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sourcing and Cost Management**:

- Source supplier costs for freight forwarding activities across various modes of transport, particularly for remote sectors.
- Process supplier costs in CW1.

**CRM and Sales Support**:

- Create and maintain sales organisations in CW1 and the CRM system.
- Manage customer opportunities within the CRM system, focusing on the Remote sector.
- Update and maintain tariff sheets for VIP clients.
- Provide commercial cover for other Commercial Assistants as needed, including rate quotations, follow-ups, and CRM maintenance.

**Marketing and PR**:

- Assist in designing, producing, and maintaining marketing and PR materials.
- Update and maintain the Group PR profile on social media and the company website.

**Administrative Support**:

- Book travel arrangements for senior management and other staff.
- Manage visa requirements as needed.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Handle internal telesales and cold calling.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a commercial or logistics environment, preferably in the freight forwarding industry
- Knowledge of CRM systems and CW1 is advantageous
