This small optician in the North London area is a well-established and well-known optician, with a presence in nearly every town and city in the country are now looking to add an Optical Assistant to their team of twelve.
(Although a small store it does operate as a large one due to business levels and patronage)

**Optical Assistant Position**:
” They are open to all dispensers who have experience in all levels of dispensing, contact lens teaches, and pre-screening.
” Joining a team of 12 staff in a 3-test room practice.
” Experienced and well-established team
” Needs to be a good people-person, problem solver & trouble shooter.
” Basic salary of £24,000 - £25,000, dependent on experience.
” Bonus scheme currently in place with realistic, achievable targets.
” 40-hour contract, Monday - Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5:30pm & Sunday 10am-5pm on a rota basis.
” 20 Days holiday plus Bank holidays, (after 5 years’ service you can accrue an extra day per year to a maximum of 5 extra days).
” Progression opportunities to further your career, such as dispensing optician and contact lens course.

The role is for an experienced Optical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of relevant optical experience.

**Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant**:
You will be a customer-focused individual who is able to dispense and pre-screen, make sales, and handle day-to-day admin and reception duties.
You will be working alongside an experienced and hardworking team who are striving to push this practice to the next level and would you to be a part of it.

**Compensation for the Optical Assistant**:
On offer is a competitive salary package of £22k - £24k plus a team bonus structure in place.
Holiday entitlement of 20 days plus Bank holidays.
