**Software Engineer (AWS / Java)**

A global powerhouse within the social media industry is looking for a Software Engineer (AWS / Java) to join their team remotely on an initial 12 month contract.

**Key responsibilities**
- Monitor the health and performance of the existing social media analytics product
- Investigate and remediate production incidents, ensuring availability, reliability and
- public web)
- Perform tactical infrastructure enhancements where feasible, ensuring the same level of
- SLAs
- Work closely with Ops team, core engineering team and other teams on resolving
- production issues

**Required Skills / Qualifications**
- Strong experience building and supporting web-based products and APIs
- Experience supporting products in production (monitoring / incident response /
- troubleshooting)
- Solid experience in core Java, strong experience in Java / Spring development
- Good understanding of core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, SQS,
- String hands on in SQL and should be able to write complex queries
- Experience in Ci/CD processes (Git, Maven, Jenkins)
- Data protection and privacy functional knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
