**Warehouse Operative** **Multi Task Operative** **Monday to Friday Dayshift** **Permanent Full Time** An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful team at Walker Park, Blackburn. **How will you contribute?** - Unloading and loading daily deliveries - Carrying out SAP transactions including receipts and transfers - Preparing items for despatch, re-packing as required - Marshalling materials and kits - Supporting unplanned peaks in activity - Completing cycle count activities - Maintaining quarantine logs and escalating for resolution as appropriate - Carrying out pre-checks and inspections according to Health and Safety requirements - Removing waste / material packaging to designated areas - Attending review meetings as required - General housekeeping and hygiene duties to maintain high standards in work areas **What will you bring?** - Full Driving Licence - Excellent IT skills - Able to deliver a high standard of customer service - A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges - Good attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working - Good communication skills - Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative - Counterbalance Fork Lift and Reach Truck licenses would be an advantage - Knowledge of warehouse IT systems would be an advantage, although full training will be given **What do we offer?** We really value our people and offer a friendly, safety first working environment and a competitive salary along with other benefits including; company pension scheme, generous holidays, cycle to work scheme, s range of high street discounts, onsite parking + much more Our people are at the core of our business and what makes Wincanton great.
