**The Role**

The Managing Director will be responsible for giving strategic guidance and direction to the board to ensure that our client achieves its financial vision, mission and long-term goals.

**Goals and achievements**

The person in charge will essentially be developing and implementing strategic plans and company policies, maintaining an open dialogue with stakeholders and drive organizational success to achieve the strategic business objectives.

**Reporting**

This position hierarchically reports to he Group CEO

**Integration Protocol**
- A strong track record of business development and sales leadership within the Sameday, Domestic & International courier sector.
- Strong operational leadership with demonstrated history of building teams
- Ability to Implement a strategy and devise the local footprint
- Strong operational experience within the industry
- Commercially astute with having taken responsibility for a P&L
- Experience in Client Relationship Management.
- In-depth knowledge of market analysis and metrics.
- An understanding of urgent shipment/airfreight and crossborder services.
- Previous history of client networks and strong relationships especially within the retail business.
- Strong leadership and communication.
- Hands on experience in creating reporting and managing budgets.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and possibly Europe is needed.

**Package**

£160k - £200k Base
