**About the role**:
Our Risk Business Partnering team is responsible for driving the Risk & Control agenda across AXA Health with a very clear understanding of the factors that drive the risk profile of a Health business. As a senior member of this 1st Line Risk Team, you'll focus on the activity required to implement and integrate strategic change into the AXA Health business, with an initial focus on leading the risk management and operational resilience activities arising from a recently completed acquisition.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Lead risk management activities across a portfolio of strategic and transformational change, supporting projects from point of inception to closure and hand-off into business as usual. This could include mergers, acquisitions, onshoring/ offshoring activities and digitalisation programmes.
- Identify and pro-actively manage impacts of strategic change programmes on the BAU risk posture of the AXA Health business.
- Work with the Transformation function, analyse and manage the aggregate risk exposure of AXA Health's change portfolio.
- Lead the risk management activities required to integrate a recently acquired business, including but not limited to: Risk Management Framework, Governance & Reporting, AXA Group Standards, customer outcomes, assessment and analysis, Operational Risk and Resilience.
- Provide high quality project reporting as required, including but not limited to: Weekly Project Status reports, Steering Committee updates, Health Risk Committee updates and papers.
- Complete risk analysis and assessment of any BAU commercial or operational changes expected of the third party during the post-acquisition period.

**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:

- Broad risk management expertise with a track record of supporting the delivery of major change.
- Demonstrable expertise in Operational Risk, with a track record of championing good customer outcomes and pragmatic, commercially-minded operational solutions.
- Hands on experience of the key risks associated with a large-scale FS firm / Healthcare insurer.
- In-depth understanding of risk and control assessment and assurance techniques, including Key Risk Indicators, alongside statistical sampling and outcome-based testing.
- Ability to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation with challenge, empathy and pragmatism.
- People centric leadership style, which drives engagement and ongoing capability building across all levels of the team and wider organisation, building a culture of positive energy, empowerment, creativity and teamwork.
- Experienced people and thought leader that is highly customer focused and can deliver results that exceed expectations.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
