Laser Operator

Our client, a laser cutting, forming, fabrication and water jet cutting production company, based in Tewkesbury, is looking for a Laser Operator to join their expanding team.

**What the client offers**:

- Full training will be given
- No weekends
- Monday to Thursday, 16:00 - 00:00
- Friday, 15:00 - 23:00
- £10.50 to £12.50 per hour, depending on a proven practical skill test.
- 50 minutes lunch break, 20 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid.

**What is desired but not essential**:

- Forklift truck driving, a valid licence is a help but is not essential
- Knowing the difference between different steel types
- Knowledge of a CNC controlled laser cutting/plasma
- Able to read a tape measure and vernier
- Someone who is looking for a good opportunity.

**Benefits & Requirements**:

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Canteen
- Ongoing Assignment
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
