We are looking to build upon our success by appointing an organised and skilled SQL DBA Developer to work within our data, cloud, colo and voice lines of business. This will be a varied and challenging role with significant opportunity for skills development.

You will be working with a mix of technologies and also working with assurance teams to support external and internal customer solution deployment and support. This will also include working with integrating our current business systems with our core network,cloud and voice technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems

SQL Server DBA duties and responsibilities
- Manage SQL Server databases
- SQL Server Integration Services
- SQL Server Analysis Services
- Microsoft SQL Server Azure
- Supporting Microsoft Power BI and Power BI end users
- Management of Data Warehouse
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes
- Monitor system's health and performance
- Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
- Maintain Data Management and Integration
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, processes, and standards
- Contribute to implementing and maintaining processes, methodologies, standards, and guidelines

SQL Developer Requirements
- SQL Experience
- Experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role
- Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
- Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
- Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
