We operate a hybrid approach to working with the flexibility to work from home and at our Customer Support Centre in Walsall. In addition, the role comes with the ability to complete an apprenticeship qualification such as CIPD.
**About this role**:
- Working in partnership with People Operational Team to understand all vacancy requirements and succession plans across their region and functional alignment
- Ensure Poundland & Dealz gives applicants a great experience, whether successful or not, to champion our employer brand
- Ensuring vacancies are filled promptly, to impact and reduce time to hire directly
- Opportunity to assist on current/pending resourcing projects and have a direct impact on improving processes
- Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria for future employees
- Track hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
- Train and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques and assessment methods
**About You....**:
- Strong team player with a passion for recruitment, with experience in a fast-moving retail environment
- A specialist in direct Resourcing, preferably from a in-house experience
- Experienced in creating robust and imaginative recruitment campaign plans to demonstrate understanding of requirements and deliver activity
- Must be able to interact at all levels
- Keen to take ownership of recruitment issues and drive success and positive change
- Outgoing and assertive with others, maintaining a professional, positive attitude at all times
- Highly organised, with excellent time-management skills, along with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Good ‘technical’ skills, having ideally previously worked with recruitment systems
