Cardiff and Vale UHB are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the Chief Operating Officer’s team as Head of Performance. The post holder will develop and lead a comprehensive performance management approach whilst leading a number of key programmes with a particular responsibility for identifying, evaluating and addressing performance issues across the Health Board. The Head of Performance will play a key role in the delivery of operational improvements across all priority areas including planned care, cancer, mental health and urgent and emergency care.

Working closely with the senior operational team, the post holder will provide leadership, strategic direction and professional management to help support the Health Board in service delivery and planning.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
