Here at Serco, we are on the lookout for a passionate Passenger Services Agent to join our dynamic team at RAF Brize Norton - the largest RAF station, home to 5,800 Service Personnel, 300 civilian staff, and 1,200 contractors. This is a unique chance to work in an environment that is both challenging and rewarding, supporting vital operations, and delivering exceptional service to passengers travelling through this prestigious base.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Passenger Service Agent, you will be the friendly face that ensures smooth, efficient, and secure passenger processing from check-in to arrival. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring all passengers have a stress-free journey. Responsibilities include: Becoming an expert in UK, EU, and non-EU immigration regulations, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and efficiently. Producing clear and precise passenger manifests and assisting with all necessary paperwork. Providing a warm and professional welcome to passengers while assisting with their documentation as they depart, arrive, or transit through RAF Brize Norton. Handling the passenger service desk and responding to inquiries with patience, understanding, and a can-do attitude. Ensuring the Air Terminal and its surroundings are kept in immaculate condition to create a welcoming environment.
**What We’re Looking For**:
We’re searching for individuals who thrive in customer-facing roles and bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and adaptability to the table. If you have the following, we want to hear from you Outstanding customer service skills - a passion for helping others is a must Excellent communication and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Flexibility and adaptability to meet operational needs. A professional, polite, and positive attitude. Competency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office. UK Driving Licence. Full colour perception. (Desirable) IATA Dangerous Goods by Air (Table 2.3A) certification.
