Jacobs has an opportunity for a Senior/Principal Consultant to join our Intelligent Asset Management & Assurance team, working closely with our clients across the energy and utilities sector to understand their issues and support innovative, value adding solutions.
You’ll work with our clients to help them realise value from their assets, acting as a critical friend, providing strategic thinking and practical, resilient, and assured solutions that deliver whole life value. By combining traditional consultancy skills with data driven solutions you’ll increase our clients understanding of their asset base, helping them to work smarter and realise tangible benefits. You will be joining a team of expert consultants, embracing our relationship-based sales ethos whilst being an excellent role model for your colleagues.
**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
To thrive in this role, you’ll be self-motivated and willing to challenge established practice. Excellent oral and written communication skills are key, along with the ability to collaborate as a team, and across strategic consulting. Ideally you'll have delivered 2-4 relevant projects successfully, along with:
- Good breadth of knowledge and experience across the full scope of asset management; stakeholders, strategy, plans, lifecycle management, people, asset information, risk and review
- A degree in a relevant engineering, science, mathematics or asset/information management discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Previous experience in the energy and/or utilities sector
- Knowledge of grid codes, consenting, and TP500
- Knowledge of operating models in electrical/gas infrastructure
- Up to date knowledge of techniques, best practices and statutory requirements
- Ability to form relationships and develop industry connectivity
- Positive/effective relationships with clients and co-workers and demonstrate a focus on satisfying both internal and external customers
- Ability to facilitate small group workshops
- Management consulting experience
