**About The Role**
Great Harwood Care Home is a 7 bedded unit for adults (male and female) with mild mental health issues, Learning Disabilities and ASD. We are located on the outskirts of Great Harwood, ideally suited for access to Accrington and Blackburn Town Centre and just a short walk from the quiet market town of Great Harwood.
Our aim is to rehabilitate people back into community living whilst promoting a good quality of life for our residents.
We are recruiting full time Support Workers to join the well
- established team at the home.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role are:

- Supporting our service users to access the community and services available
- Completing documentation up to a high standard
- Undertaking cleaning and cooking duties as required
- A commitment to completing mandatory training
We pay £8.91 per hour to start which increased to £9.20 per hour after successful 3 month probation.

**About You**
**You will ideally have**:

- A genuine interest in working within a caring environment
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience working within the care and support sector (Ideal but not essential)
- Some experience working within a Mental Health setting is desirable
- The ability to build a great rapport and the desire to truly make a difference
- A person-centred approach in all aspects of care
