**The Company**:
Our client is a specialist treatment solutions company offering their services primarily to the aerospace sector. Their treatments are for complex and intricate engineering requirements and the range includes Non-Destructive Testing, Plating, Anodising, Paintingand Process Evaluation.
**Location**:
This role is located in Harlow, easily commutable from North and East London, and from locations in Essex and Hertfordshire.
**Your main duties will be**:

- Carrying out assessment of outgoing goods, conducting visual and measurement testing to verify conformity to drawings and specifications.
- Keeping measuring equipment operational by following operating instructions and ensuring repairs and calibration testing are completed on time and to schedule..
- Identifying both the Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA)
- Writing and implementing RCCA documentation
- Consulting with the Quality Manager, to ensure compliance to ISO9001 and NADCAP.
- Identifying root cause and corrective actions to answer both internal and external non-conformances.
- Keeping up to date with client & process specifications

**Your Background**:

- Chemistry, Engineering or Applied Sciences qualification
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Working knowledge of FMEA principles.
- Minimum of 5 years in special processes - advantageous
- A basic understanding of Anodising, Electroplating, Electroless coatings, Conversion Coatings, Primers and Paints - desirable
- An understanding of NADCAP and ISO9001 - desirable
