Schedule: 8 hour shifts, must be available weekends and ability to commute/ relocate.

Expected start date: ASAP

Waitress/ barista experience: 2 years experience (essential)

Job summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated front of house member to join our new and exciting team. As a front of house, you will be responsible for greeting customers, preparing and serving high quality food and beverages whilst providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience for our customers. Your role will involve not only preparing and serving high quality drinks but engaging with customers to enhance their experience in our café. We are seeking someone with exceptional customer service skills, someone with experience working in a café and someone who can bring personality and enthusiasm to our team.

**Responsibilities**:
Taking orders at the counter and greeting customers.

Preparing and serving high quality beverages.

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café, including workstations, tables and equipment.

Engaging with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.

Handle cash transactions and ensure proper management of the till.

Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Uphold the brand's standards for quality and presentation in every beverage and food item served.

Collaborate with other FOH members to ensure a smooth and efficient running of every shift.

We have another café in Primrose Hill that we may require you to work shifts at as well as Ripe Kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to work across two wonderful cafes, meeting and collaborating with two brilliant and vibrant teams.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a waitress or barista (barista is not required but preferred)

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasking efficiently in a sometimes fast-paced environment.

Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being proactive in individual tasks.

A genuine passion for coffee, good food and customer service is essential.
