Here at Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) we have exciting developments and opportunities lined up over the next few years. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed to work as PTS Resource Coordinator within PTS Logistics.

The Resource Coordinator role works the following shift pattern 3 days one week and 2 days the other:

- Week 1 0800-1600 (Mon - Fri)
- Week 2 1000-1800 (Mon - Fri)

An exciting opportunity exists for a Resource Coordinator within Patient Transport Services, who will be responsible for the efficient and effective allocation of shifts to PTS Operational staff. The role requires that due consideration is given to various criteria, including expected demand of our service, contractual hours and skill mix of staff, vehicle type, and budgetary constraints.

Based in Wakefield, the hours of work will be 18.75 per week, part time

**You will have**:

- Experience of working in a patient/customer focused environment (Essential)
- Understanding of performance standards and customer care
- Experience in interpreting workload demand and converting it into resource requirements
- Experience working with Cleric or a computerised scheduling system
- Experience of the allocation of workload to operational resources
- Experience of using GRS or other rostering software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work to high standards of quality, including when working to strict deadlines
