**Test Automation Engineer**
**Glasgow**

As a Barclays Test Automation Engineer you be joining our growing global The Governance Risk and Control(GRC) team. You will be responsible for developing automated regression scripts using open source tools and executing the same including, but not limited to, developing of test cases and executing the same during the SIT phase. Raising & retesting of defects identified during the SIT and UAT Test phase.

**What you’ll be doing?**:

- Assisting as required in the requirements determination for regression scripts enhancements and changes
- Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and department standards
- Providing support by developing and executing of test cases during QA, SIT and UAT test phases
- Raising and track defects found during QA, SIT and UAT test phases
- Supporting Sprint & Regression testing as and when required
- Executing Test Automation as and when requested
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use as requested
- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders on regular bases

**What we’re **looking for**:

- Exceptional experience working with Protratcor/Cypress or any Open Source Automation tool.
- Some experience with MSSQL queries and GIT.

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Excellent knowledge of the open source JavaScript libraries/ Typescript.
- Experience in developing automated regression scripts.
- Experience in working with JIRA.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
