**The job itself**:
We are looking for a Support Worker for a 16 year old male who lives in South Cave. The young man has a diagnosis of autism and has difficulties with social communication and interaction, which impacts on his everyday functioning. He also has a diagnosis of severe anxiety and social anxiety.

A Support Worker is required for 5 hours per week during term time and 10 hours per week during school holidays, to help develop his social skills and support him accessing the community.

He likes outdoor activities such as archery and fishing and is also a keen baker.

The Support Worker must be flexible, honest, reliable and have similar interests.

The working pattern is flexible and can be discussed at an interview.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.

The young man has requested for a male worker to support him.
