**About the role**

As a Vehicle Purchaser, you will be the vital link between our Sales function and external dealerships. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are placed in an accurate and timely manner. You will manage and exceed expectations through delivery of a quality service, while promoting our brand values and embrace customer centricity.

You will act as a first point of contact for all internal and external colleagues, suppliers and customers to ensure delivery of excellent customer service. Managing queries and complaints, you will be responsible for owning through to resolution, to ensure customer satisfaction. Working as part of a busy yet supportive team, you will manage your workload as well as working alongside colleagues when necessary.

You will also be responsible for the following duties:

- Prioritise own workloads to contribute to the smooth day to day operation of the team
- Seek opportunities to improve service levels, processes and the service provided to customers
- Look for opportunities to raise the profile of Fleet Operations and create a positive perception across the business
- Focus on own development and drive Personal Development Plan
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture

We offer Hybrid working (up to 2 days working from home per week), following your training period.

**About you**

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Delivering great customer service is key, you will be a team player who is computer literate with fantastic attention to detail. As a Vehicle Purchaser you’ll be focused on the details of the orders, so keen attention to detail is key.

**Key Skills required**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to cope with varying workloads and pressure and support colleagues with the same
- Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Adept at managing conflicting priorities and making timely decisions within parameters of role
- Experience of influencing and negotiating with others to achieve desired results
- Customer-focussed
