This luxury high-end interiors and furniture brand is looking for a positive, friendly, and socially confident **Showroom Sales Assistant** with a passion for homewares & interiors, to work within their growing sales team. In this varied showroom-based role, you will ensure the shop spaces are consistently well presented, customers are well serviced, whilst always maintaining a high level of customer service.

Based in their prestigious showroom, you will have an interest in high-end design especially within furniture and interiors and be happy to assist with the overall business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong customer service skills looking to work within a luxury brand with a company that offers fantastic scope for development opportunities.

You will be of a sunny disposition, naturally organised, and will enjoy working in a customer facing role, have an interest in visual merchandising with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

**Main responsibilities for this Showroom Sales Assistant**:

- Ensure the store is presented at a high standard at all times
- Greeting customers and clients in the store to ensure a high level of customer service
- Manage the online live chat and service enquiries in a timely manner
- Contribute to day-to-day customer enquiries including providing quotes ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Supporting the Sales Consultants with the management of ex-display sales and products
- Thoroughly understanding clients’ needs, upwardly servicing wherever possible
- Issuing quotes and keeping on top of these to ensure that they are progressing, tracked accurately, and being won in a helpful manner
- Processing sales orders, purchase orders and invoices accurately
- Ensuring bespoke orders are processed with an eye for detail
- Ensure the shop is styled well and props are rotated
- Suggest and source fabrics for display items, ensuring Head of Sales sign off and is kept up Manage hospitality and organisation of any shop events

- Working with Marketing to ensure new launches are displayed
- Managing the store’s music and general ambience
- Working closely with the procurement and delivery team, making sure that any special requirements are communicated and actioned
- Working in a collaborative manner to reach monthly and quarterly targets
- Managing ongoing care of the sales database and its record accuracy
- Manning the shop floor
- Cover for logistics team as required

**Key skills required for this Showroom Sales Assistant**:

- Transactional selling experience within a high-end luxury sales
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise
- Detailed orientated and highly motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident communicator, happy to help and engage in conversations
- Numerical and confident working with numbers
- Be proactive, reactive and enjoy working closely with other teams
- Socially warm and confident, with a desire to be helpful
- Be a team player with a positive outlook and doesn’t mind getting stuck in
- Bright and warm individual, happy to help out and adapt
- A growth mindset, positive attitude and open to change
- Experience of working within the furniture industry / directly with interior designers a plus
- E-commerce experience helpful
- Please note that due to the Showroom being open Monday - Saturday, you will be required to work Tuesday - Saturday. Tuesday - Friday hours are 9am - 6pm and Saturday is 10am - 5pm._
- We have the option to hire for Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm with every 4th Saturday in the shop 10am - 5pm but this is not the preference for this role._

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per hour
