**Job Description**:
Associate, Investment Operations (13month Fixed Term Contract)

Entry level position

Dimensional’s Investment Operations team coordinates and provides oversight of Dimensional’s service provider relationships, including global transfer agents, accounting and administrative agents, custodians, and a complex network of service groups that provide middle office services to the firm’s primary and regional offices. The Associate will assist in the daily oversight of outsourced fund operations functions with these external vendors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support new fund products and trading instruments including Mutual Funds and SMAs.
- Monitor adherence to contractual policies, procedures & controls.
- Process daily client transaction flow from Transfer Agent and track new product activity.
- Upload data to in-house client databases; analyze and assist in the resolution of operational issues.
- Evaluate client trade exceptions and complex shareholder issues and track reoccurring trends for management review.
- Complete daily back or mid office deliverables and track in JIRA.
- Escalate issues from internal & external stakeholders to assist in resolution with the service provider.
- Assist with preparation of audit requests received from Dimensional client and external auditors.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the service provider’s processes and platforms of back or middle office.
- Oversee cash reporting and projections to portfolio managers.
- Assist with the Net Asset Value review process and upload to internal database.
- Support projects and initiatives for Investment Operations and other groups on an ad hoc basis.
- Participate in the oversight of daily operations among service providers, transfer agents, custodians, fund accountants and internal departments.
- Service client queries and provide quality service and an excellent customer experience to clients, platforms, banks, trusts, and other service providers; coordinate associated internal and external information flow.
- Help manage the Inv Operations query inbox.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent: Finance, Business or Economics preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, both locally and across international offices.
- Strong analytical mindset with an ability to synthesize data.
- Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently to meet project requirements with mínimal supervision.
- Eager to learn and responsive to constructive feedback and guidance.
- Focuses on results and works diligently to accomplish them through evolving circumstances.
- Develops unique business insights, generates forward

- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred:

- Past experience working in Financial Services, preferably in Fund/Investment Operations.
- Past experience working with Transfer Agent or UCITS funds.
- Working knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate (a nice to have).
