Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to work in the hospitality industry and gain valuable experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are seated comfortably
- Provide menus and answer any questions about menu items
- Assist with taking reservations and managing the waitlist
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the establishment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
