**Maki & Ramen is looking for a part-time Hostess/Host ( 12 to 15 Hours).**
**Maki & Ramen** is a Japanese Restaurant based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Manchester.
Our Renfield Street branch has recently launched ‘Tokyo Nights’ every Friday and Saturday night, where the restaurant is transformed into a wonderful upbeat bar where we serve various cocktails and mocktails with a limited sushi menu.
To create an upbeat and welcoming atmosphere for guests, we are looking for a friendly person with an outgoing personality and a key understanding of the role of a host/hostess.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcoming guests as they enter Maki & Ramen and greeting them with a smile, escorting guests to their designated seats and have good understanding of restaurant layout.
- Floor Coordination: The restaurant will be turned into a bar/dance floor after 10:30 so the host has to sort the customers into sections with dining tables and drinks only.
- Customer Service: Have to be able to provide exceptional customer service by promptly attending to the guest inquiries and concern, being friendly and always approachable
- Waiting List Management: Keeping track of the waiting guests and providing estimated for wait times for tables.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure that the cleanliness and tidiness of the host/hostess station are maintained.

**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
