**Digital Content Designer (Inside IR35)**

**Contract Term: 5 Months**

**Contracting Authority: DWP**

**Location: Hybrid - Newcastle or Birmingham**

The Content Designer will support two Strategic Reference Architecture teams who are building strategic services to manage Citizen data attributes, Relationships and Residency, which commonly required by services to determine eligibility for products and services administered by DWP.

Citizen Relationships service is to become the central source of relationship information and Citizen Residency will be the authoritative source of residency information within the DWP. Both services will be enabling benefit services within DWP to build claims, handle changes and tackle fraud and error more efficiently by realising the strategic architecture. In doing so, they hope to transform the journeys and improve the experience of citizen, operational users and our digital colleagues.

**As a Digital Content Designer your main responsibilities will be**:

- Residency require support from a content designer for the discovery and design work for our View Update Address Agent Facing UI as well as our Habitual Residency tool.
- Relationships require support from a content designer for input into the design and iteration of the Add an Appointee user interface.
- Both teams are agile with a mix of engineers, architects and operate alongside a user centric design team (User Researcher, User Design, BAs) using Jira, Confluence and other agile collaboration tools.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Strong Content Design experience.
- Content Design in large / new implementations.
- Worked with User Researchers / UX designers in the past.
- Content designer will need to be familiar with Agile Practices.
- Knowledge of various benefits and government processes would be a plus.
- Previous experience of working for a government dept (Nice to have).
- GDS Standards.
