This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in the UK who will work alongside a second Payroll Specialist sharing the global payroll requirements; to execute an operationally global payroll, reporting into the Head of People Services.The purpose of this role will be to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and benefits for the business in accordance with statutory regulations. This is an important role as you will be liaising with business leaders and employees, resolving queries, as well as advising on statutory and technical payroll matters and keeping up to date with any business changes relating to pay and benefits; aided by our various payroll bureaus around the globe.You will be an integral part of our friendly people team who are passionate about placing the employee experience at the heart of everything they do.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Act as an interface with ESP’s external payroll bureaus, ensuring all changes are accurately captured, updated and processed in payroll each month for all 28 countries of c700 employees across EMEA & APAC
- Process the monthly pension submissions for UK, Ireland & Netherlands
- Act as a point of contact for all employee queries relating to payroll, pension and benefit related matters
- Administer the benefits in all counties on a day-to-day basis and interface with external benefits providers
- Document and regularly review and update the employment cost calculators for each country ensuring all benefits / payroll costs are accurately captured
- Ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements, including tax and pay law changes, as well as all related aspects of GDPR in liaison with ESP in country payroll providers
- Provide Gender Pay Gap and other related reporting data as required
- Checking and approving all payroll & benefits related invoices
- Reporting on payroll related accruals
- Ensure the year-end reporting process is complete for all countries across EMEA & APAC
- Process UK P11d submission via ADP iHCM to our payroll provider
- Processing starters & leavers including the administration of registering new employees with local Social Security via our payroll providers

**Skills / Experience Required**
- Proven prior experience international payroll and benefits experience is desired, strong in UK payroll processing is required
- Prior experience of using ADP iHCM advantageous
- Able to use a broad range of payroll software and platforms, including advanced skills in Word/Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivots essential)
- Proficient using HR Systems (we currently use Cascade HR) and the ability to utilise data effectively
- Comfortable working to deadlines with the ability to prioritise and demonstrable time management skill
- Proactive approach, able to build relationships and work with an array of internal and external stakeholders of all levels
- Enjoy working on a busy payroll. Be process orientated, service driven and work well as part of the HR team
- Commitment to excellent customer service (strong written and verbal communications skills are essential with a positive telephone manner)
- An individual who is interested in expanding their knowledge within the global payroll arena
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical & numerical skills
- A process improvement mindset
- Ideally you will have experience of working with an outsourced payroll provider

**What's on offer**

A base salary ranging from £45,000 - £48,000 depending on experience + benefits, access to ongoing training & the opportunity to work within our friendly, collaborative & supportive Global People Team.
