**Whytematter** are beyond delighted to be recruiting for an **Accounts and Payroll Assistant** for a forward-thinking business that cares about their clients and team.
They are looking for an experienced **Accounts and Payroll Assistant **to join their expanding team and help with **payroll, bookkeeping, VAT and accounts preparation.** This opportunity is office based in **Bangor **(Northern Ireland).
**Responsibilities**
- Process client bookkeeping records
- Prepare VAT returns
- Prepare limited company and sole trade annual accounts
- Process weekly and monthly payroll and resolve any payroll errors
- Ensure that weekly reports are completed and processed timely
- Assist with other related tasks as needed
**Education Requirements**
- GCSE English & Maths
- Must have at least 1 year of accounts and payroll processing experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience using BrightPay payroll software would be an advantage
- Experience using cloud based software such as Xero and Dext
**Benefits**:

**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
