**Salesforce Technology Platform Owner**:
**London (Hybrid Working)**
**Permanent**

**Grade 5**

The Platform Owner runs a team of matrix-allocated Tech Enablement resource, including a mix of internal and supplier resource, to ensure our key technology platforms are efficient and effective in protecting service, enabling change, and maximizing value for Currys.

**Key purpose of the Platform Owner is to**:

- Own and maintain the target state and roadmap for a given technology platform or set of platforms
- Maximise the value the platform creates & delivers for Currys by identifying opportunities to leverage capability and championing changes required on the platform
- Ensure the efficient and effective provision of services to our Service and Delivery teams, including estimation of changes, facilitation of supplier contracts, technical assurance, environment management, and test & release management
- Manage and influence demand and capacity across the platform working with internal stakeholders and key suppliers and avoid inefficient resource utilisation or supplier engagements
- Mobilise, lead and coach a matrix platform team
- Support creating the overall roadmap and shapes demand for enterprise platform consumption, including demand & capacity management
- Ensure platform team alignment with the business strategy, roadmap, and platform governance policies
- Facilitate estimation and prioritisation of changes to the platform
- Have ownership and oversight of the platform instances, the core platform team, and any escalations

- People Leadership and Management
- Strategic and Analytical thinking
- Deep understanding of technical development and testing best practice
- Deep understanding of iterative delivery practices, including product-oriented delivery
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Ability to be decisive and pragmatic
- Commercial focus
- Strong interest in software technology
- Up to date with major industry Tech trends in platform development and innovation
- Ideally 5 years experience in tech management roles
- Proven track record of:

- Roadmap Planning
- Governance set up and management
