We are looking for a Client Bookkeeper & Payroller, with a minimum of 3 years experience to join our friendly team in Bordon.

The role is diverse - you will manage a number of clients from different industries. Practice experience would be a huge advantage and we require a good working knowledge of Xero and SAGE Line 50 software.

We work from our offices, but occasionally travel to our clients, so a reliable vehicle and clean driving licence are essential.

After an initial handover period, you would be expected to manage the customer relationship and any requirements they might have, therefore you must be able to work as part of a team, but also have the skills and confidence to work alone.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Key duties would include:

- Excellent customer services skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- **Bookkeeping**_:

- Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Bank and Credit card reconciliation
- Submitting VAT & CIS returns
- Credit Control
- Managing supplier payments
- Working with incomplete records
- Posting Journals
- Reconciling control accounts
- Preparing management accounts
- Preparing year end file for our accountants

**Qualifications and Skills**

Practice or multi industry experience preferable
Experience using Xero & SAGE 50 software

AAT Level 3 or higher (or equivalent)

**Qualifications and Skills**

Practice or multi industry experience
Experience using SAGE 50 Payroll and/or Xero Payroll
Experience with auto-enrolment, particularly via NEST Pension

Please note, we have often have friendly dogs in the office.

Please also note, that we are flexible as to when the 20-25 hours are worked, as long as they are worked between Monday - Thursday 8am to 5.30pm and Friday 8am - 1.30pm as we close the office at 1.30pm on a Friday.

**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
