Civil's Manager
Dundee - Up to 65k circa based on experience - Permanent

**Responsibilities**:

- Overall responsibility for all civils works on Sites.
- Experience of working to strict deadlines.
- Ensuring all SEPA guidelines are followed and all appropriate approvals, PPP's, paperwork
- Assist QS team with qtys for BOQ's.
- Carrying out and monitoring programmes for the works.
- Doing labour forecasts for the works.
- Managing direct operatives and subcontractors.
- etc are in place.
- Ensuing setting out works on site is carried out correctly and carrying out occasional checks as required.
- Occasional setting out as and when required to assist, check and monitor the works.
- Be part of the Site Management Team on any site you are involved in, assist in Site Managers absence as required.
- Carry out tasks the Site Manager may require on any contract you are working
- Materials checking and recording deliveries, reconcile quantities
- Procuring Labour, plant and materials for the works.
- Ensuring RCC and all associated approvals are obtained.
- Reviewing earthworks models and establishing most optimum/ economical site levels.
- Reviewing civils tenders with QS team.
- Ensuring all relevant HSE notifications and requirements are in place for projects starting and maintaining the construction phase plan during the project.
- Looking at VE options for all civils works to ensure best value for the company.
- Check all temporary benchmarks are accurate and, if required, check back to ordinance survey datum's
- Quality Control inspection and reports
- Plant - inspect, ensure daily maintenance, check on and off-hire
- Safety - report any matters requiring attention to Site Manager
- Any other duties as requested by the Company.
