If you have a keen eye for cost analysis and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this role offers a rewarding opportunity—with a competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 per annum plus benefits.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks projects- Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to assess project scope- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop bid strategies- Monitor market trends and material costs to inform pricing decisions- Maintain and update estimating databases and cost libraries- Contribute to post-tender negotiations and handover to delivery teamsWhat You Bring:- Proven experience as an Estimator within the civil engineering or construction sector- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously- Knowledge of groundworks, drainage, and infrastructure works preferredWhy This Role?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected civils company known for its reliability, technical expertise, and collaborative culture.
