You must be able to deliver exceptional customer service at all times. Ideally you will have experience of dealing with customers, either face to face or via the telephone. You will be operating the till, preparing and selling food and drink (as required) and generally ensuring a great service is received by all our customers.

**As a Customer Service Assistant, your responsibilities will be;**
- To assist with the safe and efficient running of the Exmouth Leisure Centre Café, ensuring that all safety, customer service and quality standards are met
- To ensure high levels of customer service and quality control are maintained at all times throughout
- To assist in the food and beverage operations as required, including open/close down procedures, service, stock control and cash control.
- To assist with the general cleaning of the facility as required.
- To ensure that the facilities comply with Fire, Health and Safety, Food and Hygiene Regulations; reporting any issues to the management team.

**As a Customer Service Assistant, you will need to have**:

- A positive and outgoing personality
- The ability to communicate clearly
- Previous experience in a customer service environment
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Empathy with public and customers and their perceptions
- First Aid Training (desirable)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (desirable)
