PQA, a leading provider of weekend performing arts training, is currently recruiting an Academy Assistant for their Academy in Luton on Saturdays 9:45 - 11.45am. There may also be some additional hours and the hours could increase to be 9.45 - 1pm.

You will need to have some experience of working with children in a group/activity/classroom setting. Experience of working with SEN children is desirable but not essential.

PQA follows safer recruiting. An enhanced DBS on the update service will be required and can be arranged.

Job Requirements
- Ability to work with children and young people of all confidence levels and abilities is essential.
- Continued support will be provided.

Job Responsibilities
- Supporting the class teacher with the running of the session and managing of the children.
- Assisting with the delivery of Drama, Musical Theatre and Film Production sessions in accordance with session plans provided by PQA.
- Assisting with registration processes.
- Assisting with Shows and Performances, which may occasionally be outside the usual working hours.
- There may also be opportunities for additional hours to cover staff absences.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 per week
