Availability Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Availability Administrator. This role is based at our head office in Portsmouth. The role offers hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office. The office has great amenities with onsite parking and a lakeside shuttle bus service.
We’re offering a part time 10-month Fixed Term Contract (30 hours per week) working Sunday 11:00 - 17:00, Monday 08:30 - 17:30, Tuesday 08:30 - 17:30 & Wednesday 08:30 -17:00.
We are seeking an individual who has a passion for problem solving and has experience working in a fast-paced environment.
**Your day-to-day tasks will include**:
- Support the Availability team with the day to day monitoring, analysis and investigation of in-store stock availability data.
- Make recommendations in order to improve in-store availability through both system interventions and providing feedback to the Operational Field team.
- Allocate the required stock volumes for seasonal & promotional products via the allocations process and monitor sell through to support the exit plan for promotional and seasonal products.
- Administration of required product allocations from initial set up to exit for Southern Coop
- Support the Availability Team with both tactical & strategic projects.
- Monitoring and resolution of any product related issues via the Cherwell System.
- Ensure accuracy of product databases, associated files and any remedial action.
**Key skills required**
- IT literate and a competent user of Excel.
- Good communication skills and confidence to engage at all levels of the business.
- Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of the operational aspects of a food retail business would be beneficial.
- Experience of working with central retail systems.
- Highly analytical and ability to manipulate, report on & analyse high volumes of performance related data.
- Good organisational skills and able to manage own workload and deadlines.
