**JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE**: ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT ACCOUNTABLE TO: PRACTICE MANAGER & PARTNERS REPORTING TO: PRACTICE MANAGER & ASSISTANT MANAGER HOURS: PART TIME - 30 HOURS Job Summary: The administrative function is an important part of the Practice team. The main responsibilities of the role is to manage the practice long term condition recall system which involves generating reports and sending out invites to patients via letter or text message. Ensuring the clinical system is coded correctly. Working closely with the practice QI and Project lead.

Participating in the monthly QOF meetings Liaising with clinicians and other team members regarding patient recalls. Other administrative duties as required. The post holder should have the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with patients, doctors, colleagues and other agencies. Confidentiality: In the course of seeking treatment, patients entrust us with, or allow us to gather, sensitive information in relation to their health and other matters.

They do so in confidence and have the right to expect that staff will respect their privacy and act appropriately In the performance of the duties outlined in this Job Description, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to patients and their carers, Practice staff and other healthcare workers.
