**People Data & Analytics Lead**

**Purpose of the Role**:
This role will be responsible for supporting the P&C roadmap that will deliver integrity in our people data and support our ambition of insights led decision making for our P&C teams and business stakeholders. Together with Head of People Operations Technology & Process shape and deliver the data requirements that support our overall P&C Strategy.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Strategy**
- Facilitate insight led decision making that will both inform the P&C Strategy and drive P&C strategic priorities, by providing input into and support the execution of the P&C reporting and analytics strategy, operational framework and governance processes.
- Process Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement and effectiveness of data management, data quality and related processes.
- Identify opportunities for change and enhancement of P&C activity either through process improvement, training, or system requirements.

**Data Governance/Quality**
- Maintain and enhance the overall quality and integrity of people data globally by upholding data governance policies and procedures, performing quality checks and resolving issues on a case-by-case basis.
- Work with Compliance and Technology to ensure processes and controls are compliant with regulation and company policy.
- Champion good data management practices across P&C including running initiatives to increase awareness of data management topics.
- Create and maintain process document & training material to ensure that data management methodologies deliver high quality data.

**Project Management**
- Provide data consulting and support for ad hoc requests and projects across various P&C and business teams.
- Central point of coordination for data projects involving data retention, data management, data analytics and data governance for people data.
- Partner with colleagues to govern/oversee business projects and change.

**Stakeholder Management**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the P&C teams locally and globally. Develop an understanding of their strategic and operational demands, translating these into actionable plans.
- Partner with Technology and D&A teams to ensure business and functional requirements are documented and understood. Ensure our prioritised demands are delivered within agreed timelines and to a level of quality expected by the business.

**Industry Trends and Thought Leadership**
- Stay abreast of latest industry trends and thought leadership, to ensure that we are keeping an eye on the future and art of the possible with regards to all future planning and delivery.

**Skills & Experience**:

- 8+ years’ experience in a HR professional or technology role with a deep understanding of appropriate processes, functions and roles within a functional area.
- Background in identifying change needs, delivering change management or process re-engineering activities.
- Broad understanding of the current and emerging technology trends and developments in the HR sector.
- Possesses the ability to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines set by management.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule for self and team and work within agreed timescales.
- Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
- Proven ability in managing sensitive matters whilst ensuring all Primark information remains confidential to the business.
- Effective and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business.
- Sound judgement, unquestionable ethics and integrity with high degree of transparency and trust
