Social Media Executive

**About the role**:
The GelBottle Inc. is on an exciting growth journey, and we're looking for a** Social Media Executive**to be part of our vibrant, founder-led company. You'll help shape how our brand shows up online. If you’re already working in beauty, fashion, or FMCG and want to take your creativity and marketing skills to a fast-growing premium nail brand, this is your opportunity.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing content across platforms like Instagram and TikTok, ensuring it reflects our brand tone and drives engagement. You’ll be the voice of the brand online, interacting with our community, supporting product launches, and helping grow our audience. Your success will be measured by follower growth, engagement rates, and the consistency and quality of your content.
- Create high-quality short-form videos, reels, stories, carousels, and graphics optimised for each social channel
- Edit videos and images using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar
- Write engaging captions and copy that align with brand voice and tone
- Schedule and post content across channels, testing formats and timings to optimise performance
- Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches
- Engage with our community using our brand tone of voice to respond to comments and DMs
- Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and share recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, product, marketing, customer service) to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices
- Stay ahead of beauty and nail trends to inspire new content ideas and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions

**About you**:
We’re looking for someone who’s confident creating content and managing social media for a growing brand, ideally within the beauty or fashion space. You’ll bring a mix of creativity, organisation, and curiosity to the role, demonstrating a strong understanding of digital design and social trends. Ultimately your passionate about using social media to tell stories, build community, and support wider marketing goals will be what set's you apart from the rest.

**Skills we’re looking for**:

- Experience in photography, videography, and editing using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar
- Familiarity with social media management tools and scheduling platforms
- Proven experience managing brand social media accounts, ideally in beauty or fashion
- Strong creative eye and understanding of digital design
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and platform developments
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
- Highly organised with strong time management abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and working both independently and as part of a team
- Curious, open-minded, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
