**Job Purpose**:
I am a mother to a 5 year old daughter and am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support me for 30 hours per week. I suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome and depression. This makes me struggle physically with day to day living tasks as they require high energy input. I need support with maintaining home, meal preparation, laundry and tidying. In relation to my daughter, I would like you to be able to support with playtime to allow me rest. Ideally, I am looking for someone who has an experience with managing challenging behaviours in children and can prevent escalation. You will need to be able to work during the school holidays as well as term time

**Location**: Martham, NR29

**Person specification**

**Essential**:

- Patient
- Flexible
- Experience with supporting children with challenging behaviours
- UK clean driving license holder with car and the appropriate business cover

**Summary terms and conditions**:

- The rate of pay for this position is £9.91 per hour
- Hours and times of work: 30 hours per week, flexible, exact times agreed in advance to suit mutually. Ideally the working pattern would be 4 hours a day during term time which will also include weekends and 6 hours a day on weekdays during the school holidays
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
