Accounts Administrator

**Overview**
The Accounts Administrator plays a crucial role within the practice, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the financial processes. This position involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the accounting team with various administrative tasks.
**Duties**
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Record and reconcile bank transactions.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and manage follow-ups for payments.
- Answer incoming calls and take messages
- Complete client bookkeeping
- Complete Confirmation Statements for all clients
- Formation of Limited Companies
- Liaise with HMRC
- Collect and distribute post
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Run monthly payroll
- Annually payroll updates on accounting software
- Preparation and filing of P11D returns
**Qualifications and Skills**
- AAT Level 2+ (or studying)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, FreeAgent) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage workload efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to analyse financial data and present insights clearly.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
